My Review:
This is an adult romance book that is set around Christmas time. I really enjoyed this book, but I will say it is definitely for adults. I wouldn’t suggest anyone younger than 17ish read this. There was A LOT of cussing, and some sex scenes that were definitely meant for adults. That being said, the storyline was great.
I really enjoyed this book, and didn’t want to stop reading. I felt my heart break with the characters as well as feeling their devastation, embarrassment, and joys. I felt like I knew these characters, and I wanted nothing but the best for them. That being said, there was a part in the book where I was so frustrated. I thought the book was about to end with a happy ending, but there was a while of the characters hurting each other even more. Yes it worked out in the end, but I just wanted the happy ending to hurry up and get here!
The chapters in the book occasionally switch points of view when convenient. It wasn’t every other chapter, and there were not any labels at the beginning of the chapter to tell you when it was switching points of view. Everything flowed so well that it was not needed. It definitely helped the story though. I like being able to know how both characters and feeling and what they’re thinking.
The characters were so great, and well developed in the story. The friendship between the three girls was so strong, and you knew that they would be there for each other no matter what. The romance was great as well. It was very authentic, and I couldn’t get enough of it.
