My Review:
Wow this book was weird. I LOVED Cinder, so I had really high expectations for Scarlet. While I still really liked the book, I was a little disappointed. I did find this book more interesting than Cinder though, because it kept my attention. It seemed to move at a faster pace, which may be because we got to see both Cinder and Scarlet until their worlds collided.
Along those lines, I loved how their stories were connected. I was so intrigued throughout the book, and had a hard time containing my curiosity. There were also a lot more characters in Scarlet. I really enjoyed this, and it made the book come alive.
The main thing I struggled with was the wolf aspect. They are humans but something in their brain makes them act like wolves. It was too much for me. It reminded me a little bit of Twilight, which I am not a fan of. I don’t really know how to describe it, but the wolf thing really creeped me out. However, there was a character named Wolf who I loved. I found myself hating him at times, but overall I really liked him. The romance was a bit odd, but so sweet.
