Hunk for the Holidays by Katie Lane

Goodreads summary:
Always putting business before pleasure, Cassie McPherson works hard for her family’s construction business. That might explain why she doesn’t have a date for the company Christmas party. But it doesn’t quite explain why she’s crazy enough to hire an escort for the event or – crazier still – why she’s dying to unwrap him like a present . . .
With whiskey-colored eyes and a killer smile, James is one gorgeous hunk who really knows how to fill out a tuxedo. He charms everyone, including Cassie. And when the night ends, the party doesn’t stop. As Cassie falls, literally, into his bed, James falls head over heels in love. Now he has to figure out a way to tell her the truth: he’s not an escort. He’s her family’s fiercest business rival. But all he wants for Christmas is her . . .

My Review:
Hunk for the Holidays was an interesting book. It was really good and kept me wanting to keep reading. I actually read this book in one sitting. Like, I don’t think I even got up to go to the bathroom. I could not make myself put the book down. With a huge family, protective brothers, business enemies, and a very strong attraction this book was bound to be interesting. Parts of the story were sweet. I loved how James took such good care of Cassie, and how he truly loved her even before he was aware of it. Other parts of the story were hilarious. I don’t want to give it away, but I was definitely laughing out loud in a few scenes.
I really liked how involved in the story all of Cassie’s brothers were. It made the book that much more funny and intriguing. I also loved that there was another love story woven into the book. Two love stories in one? Yes please. It was done so well! This was my first book by Katie, but it definitely won’t be my last.
