A Voice in the wind by Francine Rivers

Goodreads summary:
Torn by her love for a handsome aristocrat, a young slave girl clings to her faith in the living God for deliverance from the forces of decadent Rome.

My review:
Francine Rivers will never cease to amaze me. This was my eighth book to read of hers, and I have not been disappointed by her yet. This book had a lot more history in it, and could get a little boring occasionally. However, I think all the history was helpful in understanding the rest of the story. This IS a historical book after all. I loved everything else about this book and you will too. I highly recommend it.
